A Gentle Paradise

Through the timeless lens of 35mm film, i sought to capture the haunting beauty of botany bay on edisto island. This untouched sanctuary whispers stories of resilience, where live oaks stretch their gnarled arms to the bright sky, and weathered driftwood rise solemnly from the shell filled shores.

The muted tones and grain of the film evoke a sense of serenity, perfectly framing the interplay of light and shadow that dances across the tidal pools and salt marshes. Each frame holds a fragment of Botany Bay’s raw, ethereal essence—a reflection of nature’s artistry frozen in time.
